Why environment matters in Soygaon Taluka
Soygaon Taluka lies in a drought-prone zone of Marathwada. Deforestation, unregulated stone quarries, and disappearing water tables are threatening farming and daily life. Team Samarpan Foundation runs consistent tree plantation, well-recharge, and plastic-free village campaigns — small, disciplined actions that add up over years.

- Nakshatra Van — Panchang-based sacred grove initiatives
- School Kitchen Gardens — Vegetable patches in Marathi schools
- Waste Segregation Drives — Village-level dry/wet waste separation training
Impact and monitoring
We geo-tag every planted tree with a photo and adopt-a-tree system. Volunteers water and monitor saplings for the first 2 years — the survival rate matters more than the number planted. All plantation events happen with local Gram Panchayat approval.
