Origin story
Team Samarpan Foundation began in 2024 as an informal youth collective in Soygaon Taluka, Aurangabad district, Maharashtra. What started as friends organising an anna daan on Chaitra Padwa grew into a structured Section 8 Non-Profit Company by 2026. We chose the Section 8 route because it demands transparency, board accountability, and annual audits — the same discipline we ask of ourselves in the field.
समर्पण फाउंडेशनची सुरुवात २०२४ मध्ये सोयगाव तालुक्यात मित्रांच्या अनौपचारिक गटातून झाली. चैत्र पाडव्याला आयोजित केलेला अन्नदान हा पहिला प्रयत्न. २०२६ पर्यंत ते कलम ८ (Section 8) कंपनीत औपचारिक झाले.

Vision, mission, values
**Vision:** A rural Maharashtra where every young person can serve their village with dignity and every villager has access to education, health, and opportunity. **Mission:** Deliver focused social programs (education, health, environment, animal welfare, social services) in Soygaon Taluka with radical transparency. **Values:** Seva (service), Sanskar (values), Satya (truth), Swaawlamban (self-reliance).
**दृष्टिकोन:** एक ग्रामीण महाराष्ट्र जिथे प्रत्येक तरुण गावाची सेवा करू शकतो. **मिशन:** सोयगाव तालुक्यात शिक्षण, आरोग्य, पर्यावरण, पशु कल्याण आणि सामाजिक सेवा या क्षेत्रात केंद्रित काम. **मूल्ये:** सेवा, संस्कार, सत्य, स्वावलंबन.
Why we are different
Most rural NGOs claim wide coverage on their website but deliver in one place. We do the opposite — we say plainly that we work in Soygaon Taluka only, and we deliver depth here. We publish annual reports. We show certificates publicly. We accept only donations that we can trace to a program. This discipline matters more than growth.
अनेक ग्रामीण एनजीओ website वर मोठा दावा करतात पण एकाच ठिकाणी काम करतात. आम्ही उलटं — आम्ही स्पष्ट सांगतो की आम्ही फक्त सोयगाव तालुक्यात काम करतो, आणि इथे खोलात काम करतो. वार्षिक अहवाल प्रकाशित करतो. प्रमाणपत्रं जाहीरपणे दाखवतो.
